2. Valentine Day Inspired Cupcake Toppers
A creative way to dazzle your one and only by making cute cupcake toppers. The easiest way to do this is by using chocolate melting chips, a chocolate mold, and a printed template.
Directions; Melt 1/2 a bag of Wilton’s candy melts in the microwave slowly at 30-second intervals until it is nice and smooth add 1/4 tsp of Crisco if chocolate is too thick.
The consistency should be runny, with the chocolate able to run off the spoon or spatula without clumping. Transfer cool chocolate into a piping bag or squeeze bottle. I prefer a squeeze bottle as it easier to maneuver and the hole is large enough to create the right size for writing.
Place your template under parchment or wax paper be sure that you can see the words, Love trace your design. Click the link if you need a template

To create chocolate mold use step one of melting your chocolate. Using your squeeze bottle fill each mold with the tempered chocolate. 5. Chocolate Covered Strawberries
Chocolate covered strawberries are a fantastic gift to show your love this Valentine’s Day. This delicious treat is simple to make and only takes three ingredients, fresh strawberries, semisweet or white chocolate and a variety of tempting toppings such as sprinklers, chocolates or nuts, will be the perfect gift for any family member.
Here’s the recipe. To make this recipe simple we are going to melt the chocolate in the microwave. First, choose a high-quality piece semisweet or white chocolate about 6-8 oz. Cut it into chunks or shards using a serrated knife.
Place chocolate into a microwave proof bowl for one minute. You want to go slow with this process to prevent the chocolate from burning. Using 20-minute intervals stir the chocolate until smooth. Remember, chocolate continues to melt when you take it out the microwave so be sure to consistently stir until smooth.
Line a sheet pan with wax or parchment paper. Be sure to clean and thoroughly dry off your strawberries before dipping. One at a time, hold the strawberry by the stem and dip into the chocolate.
Lift and twist slightly shaking off any excess chocolate, places the dipped strawberry on the parchment or wax paper and then repeat until finished. Lastly, garnish each strawberry with sprinkles, nuts or chocolate drizzle. Set the strawberries aside until the chocolate has set in the fridge for about 30 minutes.
